Kitchen Duty
Well, Kristy has amazed me again this week. The holidays are always busy and I knew this would not be an easy Thanksgiving for Kristy since her Mom passed away last summer. Somehow, though, Kristy didn't miss a beat. She prepared so much food- and delicious food at that.
For early lunch at my Dad's house today she made two pans of chicken and dressing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, candied yams and slaw. It was fantastic. On top of that she made potato salad and stuffed eggs to take to her Grandmother's house for our late lunch. As if this were not enough cooking, Kristy managed to make boiled cookies twice this week. I'm guessing there were about 100 cookies between Tuesday's batch and Wednesday's batches.
Kristy, I love you. Not because you cook so good, but because you work so hard to take care of our family. Thank you.
