A good relationship should be one where each person challenges the other person to be a better person. That was not intended to be a tongue twister, but it is something that I believe. Kristy, I miss you.

I’ve been away before –
To various places for various stays.
New Jersey, Minnesota, Manila.

But this time is different.
It seems longer… and harder; it hurts more.
Maybe it’s because the kids are growing up.
Maybe it’s because I’m growing up.

Or maybe it’s because every year I fall more and more in love with you.

This week Kristy is wearing her Supermom costume again. We are baby-sitting our niece and nephew so there are now five children in the house ranging in age from 3 to 10.

I went to the doctor today and found out that I have strep throat so I have not been any help to her with the children.

I'm not sure how she does it, but she is certainly.... SUPERMOM!

One thing I love about Kristy is the way she says 'I will let you go' when we're on the phone and then continues talking for another 10 or 15 minutes. It's so cute.

This is a picture from my 33rd birthday party. For this party Kristy surprised me with a Cinco de Mayo party. (Can you guess what day my birthday is now?)
